Already the pre-qualifying will lure many fans and turn some heads this year. Two big surprises await all spectators due to two world premieres in the slopestyle scene. After Ryan Nyquist made the transition from BMX to MTB last year, Drew Bezanson will be following in his footsteps and leave his BMX at home after participating in the X Games in Austin and show his skill on a 26'' inch bike this year. Which tricks will he show, flying through the skies at Leogang? He will not only have to overcome male athletes like Pavel Alekhin (RUS), Matt Jones (GBR) and Adolf Silva (ESP) this year though to reach the final. The first lady ever to partake in an FMB Gold Event, Gemma Corbera from Spain, will also be in the lineup. The riders are not only competing for the 26TRIX title but also for two FMB wildcards for Swatch Prime Line at MASH in Munich.

Pre-qualifying kicks off on Thursday, June 9th, at 4.30 pm CEST. On Friday, June 10th at 4.30 pm CEST the successful athletes will be battling the set riders for a spot in the finals, where it will get really serious on Saturday, June 11th at 5.00 pm CEST. Should the weather play up for some reason, then the deciding runs will take place on Sunday. Whilst the slopestyle specialists are soaring through the air, the downhill pros will be preparing for the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup on the "Speedster" trail. The fastest riders will be fighting for their place on the podium on Sunday, June 12th.

Apart from these world-class contests the Out of Bounds Festival has so much more to offer. On Thursday, everyone can take part in a bunny hop contest, which is followed by a pumptrack competition on Friday and also a kids pumptrack challenge on Saturday morning. Sunday has more adrenaline rushes in store thanks to the Red Bull Sky Dive Show and a trial show with Tom Oehler. Fans can get close to the stars of the festival in the team and expo area, where they can take a peak behind the scenes, when the pros are preparing for their runs. Of course, there can be no festival without a party. The DJs "Wild Culture" will be sending the right vibes in the club "Ö3".
